This is not really an instrumental piece. It is more like a song but I do some guitar picking instead of singing. Think I’ll buy a piano so I can write richer music.
First time I try to write a country music instrumental. Would be a lot easier on a horse. If you put words to this one let me know.
Plugged the guitar in the laptop a while back and made up this arrangement.
This is one of the first tunes I ever heard. I can remember my grand-mother humming it to me when I was a very young child. In her home, there was a small house on the wall. A little man or little woman would come out depending if it was going to be nice or rain. She would hum the tune as she showed me the little house.
I heard this piece years ago and it has stayed in my mind. Decided to record it before I forget it. When I jam, I make mistakes but I believe that is how music should be so I record as is.
Pretty sure this one is Irish. My roots are acadian so it might come out a bit different. Kind of partying alone this evening. There seems to be a few versions of this song.
Have you ever driven a car on a nearly empty tank. Well, today I feel like I have been driving with an empty tank all day. Only had a few minutes to create this song so here it is mistakes and all.
Will eventually spend time south in winter time. Must admit that this winter has been a very good one. Roads are good and February is not too cold, but Belize is on my mind.
This song, an original, comes from deep inside. When I play it, I feel as if I am connected with a very distant past. With time this will become a beautiful piece.
