Just a Little Bit More

A love song of some kind.

Songwriters try to present things differently.  I don’t want to sound like others because it could be played on radio.  Music is my art and I want it to be different.  This said I also want it to be understandable and shareable.

English is not my first language so sometimes the words are not right.

Streets of Montreal

There are many reasons why people end up on the streets. Often it is because they are running away from something.   If they can’t accept that they are different they probably will stay on the streets.

Wrote this song many years ago.

Cry

Written in 1975 by a boy who was angry at his parents who just didn’t get it when it came to enviromental issues.

Its only after Chernobyl that people understood the phrase “taste radioactive waste”.

My friend Yvon Malenfant was the first to see the value of this song back in 83.  He is recording on his album “For the Environmentally Retarded”

I am now recording with lyrics.

One Hundred Songs

I named this one “One Hundred Songs”.

This is the 100th original instrumental I posted on the site.

It is a major milestone in my life.  Hope I feel this way when I am one hundred years old.

Over the next months I want to focus more on recording songs with lyrics and on writing books.

This song is typical of my playing style caracterized my strong right hand finger picking .

Southern Jam

Just documenting an idea for a jazzy latino type of piece.

Might do this one again later.  Interesting structure.

Southern Dreams

Very hard to jam when the two guitars are coming out of the same speaker.  You are never sure what guitar you are hearing.

Tried to give a south american flavor to this one.

C Major 7th Jam

Always enjoyed jamming on simple structures. Play as if no one will ever hear and don’t worry about mistakes, and don’t worry about having to sound country, bluesy or new age.

Viens me Voir / Come See Me

Written during a snow storm. A few mistakes but at one point near the end I get the groove and a new song is born.
