Another traditional fiddle tune played on the guitar.
I think that is what it is called.
Got to be half crazy to try to play this one but here goes.
Decided to give this old time fiddle song a try.
Beautiful slip jig. Very Irish.
On of my favorite instrumental toons played slightly differently.
Written after talking to a Vietnam War Vet who was living on the streets of Montreal. Just wasn’t ready to go back home.
I lost the last verse of this song written in 86 but decided to record anyways.
Hope to hear this one at weddings one day.
S.R…would love to have you do harmony on this one.

French song with lyrics.
Was written 19 years ago. A friend then recorded a faster version a few years later. The fast version stayed 14 weeks at number one position on the local radio station. Was fun to here my song being played on the radio.
My friend changed one word (marde) in the song and became a co-writer. That turned me off a bit about the SOCAN thing.
Here is the original version, written by me alone.
The songs says “when you are here, you don’t think about it. But when you are away it is always on your mind. The big city swimming pool doesn’t taste like salt water, MacDonald’s lobster rolls don’t compare to fresh lobster”.
