Very lively Irish song played on nylon strings.
Been wanting to translate this beautiful song for some time now.
Certainly wasn’t easy to translate and not loose the message or poetry of this song. I am not using the same physical images but I think I will conjure the same feelings.
C’est une belle chanson. On ne peut pas traduire des poêmes mot à mot sans perdre le rythme, la rhyme et la poésie, donc j’ai chercher des images qui créeraient le même effet.
This song is sung by a child describing how difficult it is to chose between two parents.
Like a bird fallen from the nest, breaking wings on the rocks, he finds himself handicapped when comes the time to fly. Always is worried. Although he understands that life is short, life doesn’t seem to smile at him.
It is a very nice french song about divorce. Very different from Tammy Winette’s D-I-V-O-R-C-E.
Divorce
Always wondered how this song must have sounded before it became classical music. Must have been a few guys drinking beer and jamming alone, and then one guy hits the wrong chord and they keep on playing, and on turn around they go back to minors.
Just another little piece from memory.
Am playing on streel strings. Classical is usually played on nylon strings.
I think this little classical guitar piece is by Carcassi. Am playing from memory on steel strings so I might deviate a bit from the original. Also am adding a few notes in there to get a shuffle effect.
Should have tuned the guitar before recording… not after… lol
This piece reminds of the type of stuff I did when I was seventeen years old.
Actually wrote this last night visualing it being played with a cello and violons. Would produce an awesome sound when the harmonies intersect.
For now the guitar sound will have to do.
French love song. Very simple but nice lyrics.
J’ai encore envie d’aimer. I still want to love.
Another french song. Quite powerful.
For all those who have been wronged. Am hoping to translate this one.
French song with lyrics.
Desert de coquillages is a desert of shells. That is what you see when you go on our beaches in april. There are broken shells everywhere. Its like a desert.
Was thinking about a friend when I wrote this one. After one bad experience with his first girlfriend he never dated again.
If you don’t understand french I hope you still will enjoy the music.
